Our shifting consumer behaviour and introduction of fast fashion retailers has led to over 220,000 tonnes of clothes ending up in our landfills every year.
Raise awareness and a social responsibility that if clothes are looked after they’ll last
for longer. That means they can be given a second life and donated to Kiwis in need.
This campaign launched at the core of problem - a landfill, where a photoshoot took place among the debris (and where we saw the issue of clothing waste first hand). These images formed our above-the-line awareness comms, supported with PR that included social and influencer comms, as well as a clothing swap at Vanish HQ. Instore comms highlighted the landfill waste issues supported with a promotion to win vouchers to a high-end, boutique clothing rental retailer.
